Make Joomla look alike simple html website using SEO tool
Yes my friend , the first and the very first intention of any of your friend , competetor, colleagues etc might be thinking how this website was deisigned , and if he is having bit of skills in development or can say in open source but appointed to work on something else , he might be wanted to check whether the money give to design this was worth giving or not , i dont know whether this relates to you or not , but once i suffered this , i customized joomla package for one of my client locally,i have taken 500$ for the same , the client was happy with what i given, later on when he came back he used word. ” last time you deisgned the web in joomla , which is free script, so you shouldnt charge too high”, this is what i do not want when you work with joomla.
Few points that i would like to recommend before publishing joomla site are:
1) make joomla CMS , such that it should not look alike any CMS used.
2) you can do this by Hiding Administrator Area/Directory ,
3)Using Good Theme (with more number of module positions), Customizing the theme to the fullest as it was not look like deafult one.
4) Use good SEO/SEF tool so that you can change ur url to make it simple .html at the end , in this way your visitor will not be able to know whether this is made in php or html.
5) one problem with All this is when you try to make everylink displayed to be as “.html” at the end , like if your title was ” home stuff” then it will convert it to homestuff.html , it will not able to change the components to .html (like photo gallery,print etc) , you can change this by rewriting the urls in SEF/SEO component.
This way you can make your joomla website to run like simple html/php website , without letting user to know in which Plateform/package it was deisgned.
Note: above tutorial was for those who want secure joomla website , with script kiddies,hacks,etc ,also renaming the copyright , changing anything in package should be done with proper authentication , or else you can help joomla , by but putting logo in advertisement section and giving url redirection to it , also by donating to joomla project.
