How to clone a gaming directory

Step 1: Log into your website control panel and create a database.
Step 2: Open config.php and change the variables to your database and website information:
Step 3: Upload all the files and directories at the main html directory at your server, using your favorite FTP program. Keep the same directory structure
Step 4: Change the directory permissions as follow:
“banners” directory -> chmod 777
To install the database tables, point your browser to: http://www.your-domain.com/siteadmin and login with the password you entered in config.php
After pressing the “Install” button, the database tables will be installed. This will only install the information that will setup you website. Note: the installtion comes with no categories, however a file called Categories.sql is included with categories to get you started. To use this file, login to your Cpanel and find your way to PHPmyAdmin (hopefully your server has this program), if you are using Cpanel, it will be under the SQL icon located on the main page. On the SQL page, a PHPmyAdmin link will be present at the bottom of the page. Once there you will select the SQL tab for the database for this site, then select browse to find the file called Categories.sql, then click ok. There should be no errors.
Authorizing New Links
The admin will get an email when a new link is submitted, before it’s added to the database it must be approved. When you are ready to review the link, login to the siteadmin and scroll down to the bottom of the page, there you will see the Links Waiting For Approval section. Click Edit to view each link and approve it. Once you have approved the link, select Yes in the approve field located on the page about hal way down.
All other sections of the admin should be self explanitory.
Templates
The site also comes with a few templates you can customize.
IndexTemplate.php is for the text that appears on the index page. Featured websites If you choose.
AdvertiseTemplate.php is for your advertising options.
TermsTemplate.php is for your terms of use.
AddLink.php is for the pre-add a link page that is used for people to add a graphic and link back to your directory.
RightBanners.php is for under the sponsor links (sponsor text links are added via the admin), small banners you can add for this section are ideally for affiliate banners that you may want permanently displayed or premium sponsor advertising. - If you are not experienced with adding HTML to a document. You can open up the file in a program like notepad and delete all the exisiting data so nothing is displayed.
